Supporting delivery of great product: This person will support the Gaming Product Managers in the delivery of major product developments from research phase, through specification and delivery to benefit actualisation. This person will work as part of the Gaming tribe to identify opportunities to go after and will own delivery of revenue driving product initiatives via the continuous improvement stream.
Working on go-to-market plans: This person will work with internal stakeholders to ensure that they are prepared for major product releases, including but not limited to –
Operations teams – getting them up to speed with learning how to operate new products day-to-day.
Marketing teams – giving them an accurate product release plans and giving them an overview of what the benefits of new product is.
Gaming Support teams – ensuring that they’re ready to meet any questions on day 1 of new product releases.
Prioritising development resource: This person will work with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of each department on a regular basis and will use this information to feed into prioritisation decisions on each new development.
Reporting & Analysis: This person needs to learn the requirements of the Paddy Power Betfair reporting systems and be able to deliver analysis when required and to different formats, as required. This person will be responsible for competitor and product analysis and will need to present findings to both the commercial, marketing and product teams on a regular basis.
Collating the best content catalogue in our markets: This person will work with the team and internal stakeholders in order to analyse our customer base and learn what content works best for our customers. They will also work with third party gaming suppliers to source best in class content and with internal delivery teams to ensure that it is delivered on-time. Additionally, this person will work with marketing teams to ensure that they are aware of the content that is being delivered and are enabled to market it as best possible.
Relationship building: a key part of this role will be building and maintaining successful working relationships with a number of key stakeholders both internally and externally.The successful person in this role will be able to demonstrate keen relationship management skills.
Strong communication skills: The person in this role will be responsible for producing high quality presentation material, so therefore an excellence in written communication is necessary with a focus on spelling and grammar. This person will have a keen eye for detail and a creative flair. The successful candidate must be able to communicate with stakeholders clearly and with the appropriate professionalism and gravitas.
Technical nous: The person in this role will need to be able to understand technical concepts at a high level, and be able to distil this into relevant and simple information for others.
Data competency: The person will be comfortable with interpreting data to drive Product decisions and will support the Gaming Product team with the creation and analysis of product performance dashboards.
Understanding of Product Management processes: The person who is successful in applying for this role will demonstrate knowledge of product management principles, such as customer research and analysis, identifying customer pain points and major business opportunities and using these to build specification for great product.
Previous experience/knowledge of gaming and gambling industry
Experience in product management/product marketing
Experience building go-to-market plans and working with stakeholders will be favoured
Experience in a marketing comms/brand/social media role advantageous
Gaming background with eCasino experience particularly advantageous
