HR Projects and Operations Manager

This is a pivotal role in HR working alongside an established HR team. You will be involved in HR projects, as well as day to day HR operations. You will be part of a team which is responsible for ensuring a co-ordinated HR approach to how we manage our processes and procedures/policies.

This is an exciting forward- thinking role, aligned to the business and provides the scope for contribution along the lines of organisation design and automation of processes

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring that the Hub (HR system) is a vibrant place for all up to date HR data and is intuitive for employees to use.
  • Design and implement HR policies, ensuring they comply with current best practice, legislation and are competitive within the market. Consideration includes on how practices and policies extend to our European locations and our Retail estate.
  • Act as a consultant to managers and staff regarding policies and procedures
  • Responsible for reviewing and updating our employment contracts and agreements
  • Liaise with Internal Communications to ensure that HR data is communicated clearly to employees in an engaging manner and delivers a great user experience every time
  • Responsible for supplier management within HR to ensure PPB from RFP stage through to service delivery obtain best in class service and value for monies spent
  • Continuously review our processes and ways of working to promote further automation
  • Work closely with the HR systems team to ensure any upgrades in the HR system flow through to more streamlined and automated processes
  • Ensure our recordkeeping and data processing procedures comply with GDPR requirements
  • Play a key role in HR projects, to ensure they are correctly project managed and delivered in line with best practice

Skills & Experience

  • Self-Starter and able to work autonomously
  • Ability to own and drive projects through to completion
  • Credible and confident with strong influencing skills
  • Exemplary planning and organizational skills, able to manage projects/relationships
  • Resilience and resourceful with “can do” attitude
  • Works collaboratively with others to achieve excellence, across all levels of the business
  • Ability to develop clear and fair company policies
  • Knowledge of labour legislation and contract law
  • Strong commercial acumen which is applied when making business decisions
  • CIPD Qualified or part qualified
  • Previous experience of working with HR Systems
