Job Title: Full-Time Sports Trader
Reporting Line: Sports Senior Trader or Sports Team Lead

Role Overview/Purpose:
Shares responsibility for odds compilation, risk management, product optimisation, supporting in in-play trading and measuring success, all with the ultimate goal of operating a “best in class” offering for PPB customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compilation of odds in a timely and accurate way, as per the agreed trading strategy
- Support the delivery and ongoing optimisation of relevant compilation models
- Monitor and respond to changes in the general market or known conditions
- Align with key business stakeholders to improve the customer proposition
- Support in-play trading of events from across the globe
- Risk management for both pre-match and in-play events
- Produce new betting opportunities by helping to grow the Sports Specials offering
- Interpret and use outputs of relevant customer and P/L reports
- Analyse performance based on ad-hoc analysis requests given by line manager
- Ensure settlement, customer query resolution and other operational KPIs are exceeded
- Deliver on personal objectives agreed with line manager

Technical Competencies:
- Comprehensive understanding of existing operational processes and tools

- Strong report-writing skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Experienced Microsoft Office user, particularly Excel
Education, Qualifications & Experience:
- Mathematical or business degree will be considered an asset
- Excellent betting and sporting calendar knowledge
